Antonios and Shannon : Greek Wedding Day!
With a stunning bride and a handsome groom, how can you go wrong with wedding photos? It didn't even matter that the forcast was all about rain.
Shannon was a magnificent bride! Rain or shine, she went with the flow no matter what the day brought our way.
Antonios (or Tony) was the Greek influence on this wedding day (with a name like that you're thinking... no kidding!). His family was exactly what you'd expect from a heritage rooted in such tradition and culture. They were warm, friendly, lively, fun and full of life!
I love this backlit shot of Shannon walking down the asile.
With this being a Greek Ceremony, there was so many more interesting parts of the ceremony that symbolized their union: The Crowns, The Candles, The Common Cup, and the Ceremonial Walk around the table.
We had a lot of fun at Forest Park. Shannon even threw a little "Mary Katherine Gallager" in there. :)
Yes, there was the formal 'first dance' you see at most weddings... but....
There was also the traditional Greek dance, Kaslamantiano. This dance is performed in a circle that gets larger and larger with party guests! It was so much fun to watch!
Tony and Shannon you are the perfect Barbie and Ken couple! Congrats to you!
A big, big thank you to Sheri and Beth for tagging along with me. You were awesome second shooters and made my day a breeze!
