Nancy and Howard

I had never attended a civil ceremony before, much less photographed one! What a sweet and simple way to get married. Nancy and Howard were adorable.

The way the process works is you show up to the courthouse and wait in line to get married. It's a little nerve-racking since you have to show up by a certain time and then they stop taking applicants after 45 minutes!

So, to avoid being turned down, Nancy and Howard arrived very early to find that they had to wait, and wait, and wait. I can't tell you which image I like better of this moment, the color or the black and white!

Mom gives Howard a quick kiss before her baby boy gets married!
